The Power of the Night Before

“There’s no time like the present”

Except there is. It’s called the night before.

The Night Before (TNB)  is the key to an easy morning and a good day. I’m a morning person, because of TNB. We’re not talking about doing an assignment at the last-minute or answering an email from you boss at midnight. No matter how much time you have, you can put toward making tomorrow a better day.

Got 10 minutes?

  1. Pick out your clothes (shoes and jewelry, too)!

Got an hour?

  1. Pick out your clothes (shoes and jewelry, too)!
  2. Clean out your bag- get rid of all that clutter like receipts, graded papers, or gum wrappers
  3. Sit down and review your planner for the next day
  4. Answer two emails you’ve been avoiding
  5. Take 10 minutes to declutter your room- even if it’s just picking up a few things off of the floor or folding some clothes, only do it for 10 minutes so you don’t burn out
  6. Print off materials for the next day in class (if you’re in college) or put your things in the car for the next work day (if you’re in the working/parenting world)

Then, enjoy your day because you are completely prepared!

Let me know what you think! How did this change your mornings?
